"When I enrolled in the chess group, they told my mother that I was too young, it was too early. There had never been a case that at such an age they began playing. Gradually the coach became happy for me. I was calm about victories, thinking that it should be so. And already at age eight I took first place in the city tournament among girls under 18." General
ACADEMY
In December 2018 she opened the Dinara Saduakassova Chess Academy in Kazakhstan. The school has branches in Astana and Atyrau and provides vocational training for children and adults in the Kazakh, Russian, and English languages. "I have always tried to make my own contribution to ensuring that everyone in our country who wants to learn how to play chess professionally has such an opportunity. I wish people could learn chess at any age. In Kazakhstan, in the field of chess, there has always been a shortage of high-level educational institutions with highly qualified coaching staff. As serious successes appeared and a number of awards were won, I increasingly thought about developing my own courses or training sessions. I always wanted to share my experience, to help other people find themselves." (the-steppe.com, 01 Sep 2022; academyofchess.kz, 01 Aug 2020; ortcom.kz, 04 Dec 2018)

OTHER ACTIVITIES
In March 2021 she was elected onto the athletes' commission of the International Chess Federation [FIDE]. She has served as chairperson of the organisation for a period of six months. In 2017 she became the UNICEF [United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund] Goodwill Ambassador in Kazakhstan. "I am grateful to UNICEF for the trust and I want to assure you that I will do my best to justify this trust. I want us to achieve results together, so that children are surrounded by care and attention, so that they have the opportunity to convey their opinion to adults and influence decisions that concern their lives." (fide.com, 02 Mar 2021; unicef.org, 17 Nov 2017)

AUTHOR
In 2014 she published a book called 'First Steps in Chess'. In 2018 she released another book called 'Learning to Play Chess'. "If my first book was aimed at beginners and contained the earliest games, simple problems, the second book is addressed to chess players, coaches, teachers, parents. The collection can be used both for training and for self-study. My global goal is to popularise the game of chess in Kazakhstan and central Asia."
