Team Overview

General
Thailand are making their first Asian Games appearance in men's cricket at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou.

The Thai team took part in the 2017 South East Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur, where they competed in both the 50-over tournament and the Twenty20 tournament. They won two and lost two of their matches in the 50-over format, which was enough for the bronze medal. The Thais then finished second in Group B of the Twenty20 tournament to qualify for the third place play-off, but they missed out on their second medal of the Games following a four-wicket defeat to Indonesia.

In recent years Thailand's results have included a fourth-place finish at the 2022 Malaysia Quadrangular Series [which featured four teams] and a fifth-place finish at the 2020 ACC Eastern Region T20 [which featured five teams].
