Additional Information

General
HIATUS
She took a break from athletics in 2019 in order to rehabilitate an injury and to start a family. She returned to competition in 2021. "I returned to training more than a year after giving birth. Over the past year [speaking in 2022], I've been trying to get back to my top form. After giving birth, I myself feel that my health is still good, while the young athletes have not achieved good results, so I decided to return to the competition to be able to contribute and bring back the medals for my family and Vietnamese sports." (danviet, 30 Apr 2023; laodong, 08 Apr 2022)

FUTURE PLANS
She intends to become a coach when she retires from competitive sport. "I have joined the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and also completed my coaching studies at Bac Ninh Sport University. Therefore, when I don't compete anymore, I will switch to coaching. I have dreamed of competing at the Olympic Games. If I can't do that, I want to train the next generation to fulfil that dream for me." (danviet, 30 Apr 2023)
