OCCUPATION
She has worked for the Reserve Bank of India under a sports quota programme that allows athletes to have a professional career while also training and competing internationally. (sportstar, 24 Apr 2022; Facebook profile, 31 Oct 2017)

SUSPENSION
In January 2015 she was suspended for one year by the Table Tennis Federation of India [TTFI] for possessing two different birth certificates. The TTFI found that she was competing in the correct age group and had not taken advantage of the situation, which was a factor in the length of her suspension.
