HERITAGE
He was born in Houston, TX, United States of America, to a Lebanese father and a US mother. He moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with his family at age six before moving back to the United States of America in 2012. He chose to represent Lebanon in 2015. (tripolicy, 03 Apr 2021)

TRIBUTE TO COACH
In October 2021 his coach Louis Demetriades died at age 48 after a battle with pancreatic and bone cancer. "May you rest in peace coach Louis. The impact you have made on my life is one that will last a lifetime. I'm not sure how to thank you because what you have given me is priceless. The memories, experiences, laughs, and dreams you've given me are all priceless. Thank you for pushing me to be the best version of myself in and out of swimming and teaching me that it took more than just being a good athlete to be successful."
