"I listen to a particular collection of songs before a competition. I have a pre-competition routine the moment I step on to a station. I do the same thing over and over again so that it becomes repetitive and my sub-conscious takes over. It's very automatic. Feet position, set up, hold point, look point so it is very systematic and a lot of practice goes to perfect this. So when I get to a competition I am on an auto mode. I count my steps, I sing sometimes and then execute my plans." (tribuneindia, 16 Nov 2019)
:
"I have never had doubts that I could be very good at this. Even if technique is not going perfect some days, you have to back yourself. Pressure is good, I love the butterflies." (indianexpress, 07 Feb 2016)
