He has represented Kyrgyzstan in sambo wrestling and won gold in the +98kg category at the 2022 World Championships in Bishtek, Kyrgyzstan. He also competed in kurash wrestling and freestyle wrestling at each sport's national championships in 2022, winning gold in kurash and silver in freestyle.
