Team Overview

General
Pakistan have finished on the podium at all eight editions of the Asian Games to feature kabaddi since the sport was introduced in Beijing in 1990. They are yet to win gold though, finishing as runners-up to India in 1998 and 2006 and securing bronze at the other six editions of the Games. At the 2018 Games in Indonesia, the Pakistan team won four of five group matches to set up a semifinal against the Republic of Korea. The Koreans came out on top, winning 27-24, and Pakistan shared the bronze medal with India.

Pakistan have competed at each edition of the South Asian Games to feature kabaddi, claiming their only title at the 1993 Games in Dhaka. They won silver at the four South Asian Games between 2004 and 2016, and shared bronze with Bangladesh at the most recent tournament in 2019.
