He was head coach of the Sweden women's national team from 2016 to 2020, and has been an assistant coach with Sweden's men's national team. He previously worked as an assistant coach with the Finnish women's national team between 2010 and 2012. From 2020 to 2023 he coached Swedish men's club team IFK Skovde, having worked as head coach of Swedish women's club team IK Savehof from 2012 to 2018.
