He made his professional League of Legends debut in 2014, and the following year he started university. He chose to study English literature because he had to use English often in order to play League of Legends as the server was based in North America. He graduated from university in 2018. "Honestly, I don't remember much. On weekends when there was a game, I would spend three or four hours travelling from my parents' house to Tokyo by Shinkansen, and then return on the same day. I was always exhausted and would sleep like crazy on the bullet train back home. Looking back now, I believe I did a good job. Every day was filled with desperation and difficulties, but I didn't want to let down my parents who had supported me for a long time.
