He began taking horse riding lessons at age 10 at the Pack Squadron Riding Club in Mae Rim, Thailand. "I was only 10 years old and there were not many places that offered horse riding near Chiang Mai. I was petrified [on his first day of riding lessons] but I felt like I was having fun."
