General
REPRESENTING THAILAND
He previously competed for Australia, including at the 2013 World Junior Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, where he won gold in the team sprint. He also won gold in the men's team sprint at the 2016 Australian Championships in Adelaide, SA. In 2017 he chose to begin representing Thailand. "I just had a hard time getting back on the Australian team. It was difficult in the elite squad to get up the ranks to get back in again. So I had an opportunity by [the Thai Cycling Association] to do a try-out for the team. I went to do a small national race, I won, and then they were like, 'Okay, you can join the team'." (eurosport, 01 Dec 2022; SportsDeskOnline, 26 Jul 2018; Facebook page, 20 Jul 2018; Thai-Australian Association of South Australia Facebook page, 25 Sep 2017; sbs, 04 Feb 2016; cyclingnews, 08 Aug 2013)

WORLD CYCLING CENTRE
In 2018 he began training at the International Cycling Union [UCI] World Cycling Centre in Aigle, Switzerland. "Honestly I don't know how I got involved. After I won [gold at] the Asian Games [in 2018], my coach, Craig Maclean, had just become the coach there for the track team and he was just searching for talent. I was lucky enough that my federation got the invite for talented athletes to come and try." (eurosport, 01 Dec 2022)
