CHANGE OF FOCUS
He says he was discouraged after the men's C1 200m was removed from the Olympic Games programme following the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro. However, with encouragement from his family and coaches, he turned his focus to other disciplines, including the C1 1000m. "I didn't know whether I would be good at the C1 1000m. I had just graduated and did not know what my future would be. In the end, it was encouragement from my family and coaches that helped me to continue my journey in the sport." Milestones
