SWITCH TO DOUBLES
He was a singles player earlier in his career, but switched to start specialising in doubles in 2019 following advice from coach Tang Xianhu. "I was not going anywhere with singles training and did not see a clear future. I had not thought about switching to doubles, so when I heard the feedback from Coach Tang, it suddenly clicked and I thought this could certainly be a new path to break the stalemate I was experiencing in singles.
