Additional Information
General
DOUBLES PARTNER
He was paired with doubles partner Chirag Shetty by coach Tan Kim Her in 2016. "When Tan first teamed us up we found the idea ludicrous. Firstly we were both back-court players and neither of us liked to play at the net. Secondly I was playing with someone [Krishna Prasad Garaga] for a long time who I grew up playing badminton with. I remember even our parents came and begged him [coach Tan Kim Her] to consider because they thought it would be the end of my career. But I guess his vision just shows how good of a coach he is. It definitely took a bit of work from both our sides but pairing up with each other brought us success and soon the result was there for all to see when we won silver at the [2018] Commonwealth Games."
