She initially competed in swimming but switched to archery due to a lack of international swimming coaches in her city. "My sports career began at a very early age as a swimmer. At the age of less than five years, I [swam] across River Krishna [in India]. I went on to win many medals as a swimmer. I started training in archery at the age of 11 years and since then there has been no looking back. I loved being in the water and initially, I didn't want to do archery. But as I got better at the sport, I knew this was for me." (pynr, 14 Nov 2021; deccanchronicle, 28 Aug 2017)

General
NATIONAL TRIALS REDEMPTION
In March 2022 her performance at the national trials in Sonipat, India, was not enough to earn her a spot on the Indian team for forthcoming events including the 19th asian games. However, following the postponement of the 19th asian games, fresh trials were held in May 2022, and she secured a spot on the team for the 2022 World Cup event in Paris, France, and the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, AL, United States of America. She went on to win two medals in Paris and another bronze in Birmingham. "I could not qualify for the Indian team after failing to finish among [the] top four in the selections held in Sonipat in March [2022]. It was more disappointing as they were also selection trials for the Asian Games as well. Ups and downs are always going to happen. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. It's a part of sports and life. It took some time for me to accept the fact that I am not in the team but again, you never know when you will get a second chance. I took some time off and went back to my family. I needed that time to come back to form and be in control." (scroll, 03 Jul 2022; telanganatoday, 27 Jun 2022; SportsDeskOnline, 06 Jan 2023)

FAMILY SUPPORT
When she was a young child, her family relocated from Guntur to Vijayawada in India to give her access to better sporting facilities, and continued to support her financially throughout her sporting career. "Archery is an expensive sport and there were moments when I thought my parents were spending too much on me. But my father would say, 'When you're trying to achieve something big, we shouldn't worry much about finances'. He would just ask me to focus on the result." (pynr, 14 Nov 2021; deccanchronicle, 28 Aug 2017)

OCCUPATION
In 2022 she was appointed as a deputy collector with the Government of Andhra Pradesh in India. (thehansindia, 20 Dec 2022; Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh Facebook page, 16 Dec 2022)
