Danang, Vietnam, September 13, 2016: The draw for the beach handball tournament at the 5th Asian Beach Games in Danang, Vietnam, this month has had to be conducted again due to the late withdrawal of Mongolia NOC from both the men’s and women’s events.

New beach handball draw for Asian Beach Games

The new draw is as follows:

Women
Group A: Vietnam, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Jordan, Indonesia
Group B: Thailand, China, Japan, India, Bangladesh

Men
Group A: Qatar, Pakistan, Bahrain, Thailand, India, Indonesia.
Group B: Vietnam, Oman, Japan, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan.

The OCA’s 5th Asian Beach Games will run from September 24 to October 3 in the central coastal city of Danang. There will be 14 sports, 22 disciplines and 172 events contested at four venue clusters.
